Western Balkanian R1a are almost 100% Slavic branches.
1 Bosniak and 2 Croatians are Z93. Ancestors of one Croatian guy were Muslims. Bosniaks and one Croatian have Turk or Tatar paternal origin from Ottoman time. Other Croatian has Ashkenazy Jewish origin.
There is one Serb which carry Scandinavian R1a-Z284, he is only Serb which carry non-Slavic R1a of hundeds Serbs who are R1a.

Bulgarians and Romanians has Turkic R1a-Z93, unliie Western Balkanites.

What Cumans have to do with them?
Well let me explain you.
Before there was Vllachia, there was Cumania in present they Romania, and those people didn't just disappeared in thin air.
The Cumans played major role in the Second Bulgarian-Vlach Empire and many nobles were of Cuman origin.
Even today there are many toponyms that have the word Cuman in them, like for example Kumanovo.
My theory is that Gagauzes are descendants of those Cumans and if you look at their DNA, they are not that different than their neighbors.

There never existed a country called Cumania, and it certainly didn't include Romanian territory, even though sometimes Cumans migrated through parts of Southern Romania.

In their chronicles, Mongols describe Cuman scouts in their army calling Southern Romania Eflak (Wallachia). That's 100 years before Wallachia officially got its name.

Hungarians are just a Slavic/Germanic mix closest to West Slavs. Hungary_Medieval_Szolad was Germanic-like and Avar Hungary Szolad Early-Slavic-like. Iron Age Hungarians had some Scythian admixture but were rather French-like despite of that. So Hungarians have probably not more than 2% direct Uralic admixture.
