So what ? Kosovo means only it's eastern part... in Albanian we call western Kosovo for Dukagjini or Rrafshi I Dukagjinit So we do have our own name for it from the Albanian medieval family that held it. The name Metohija is from Latin or Greek since the Byzantium held it. The name Kosovo most certainly ain't Serbian in origin but rather Bulgarian. At one point even Bulgaria claimed it.
You still haven't made any argument of why the area should belong to Serbia other than some toponym when the area is majority Albanian and wasn't Serbian originally to begin with.
