On 911, why is all the focus only on New York ?

The Pentagon was hit too, but nobody talks about that? I guess because it happened in Virginia and not New York, and everyone thinks New York is all that matters? Nobody cares about the flyover states.

I always hear about the Pentagon too. But i agree that the World trade centre is talked about more. It's because the world trade centre was in New York and viewed by many people. Also more people died. (?). But it's also the fact that it looks more disastrous, and symbolic. There hardly any footage of the pentagon attack. Except for some shady looking cctv footage.

The fact that the Pentagon represents American military power, whereas the WTC was more of a global, cosmopolitan thing also affects how people view it. A military base being attacked is never as big a public fear as a residential or office area...not as unexpected...

Because the American media has focused on new York... Americans still have not provided evidence that the Pentagon was attacked aircraft

...except for all of the evidence everybody has access to.

I can see how New York is more devastating in terms of population density and all, it's just that they almost completely have forgotten about the Petnagon.

I remember -9-11.. I was in school when it happen.. everyone was scared & schocked in my school.. there was no 4g internet video phone on those days.. I thought it was Russians or something.. but my teacher explained to me that its terrorism.

my mom was in manhattan and my cousin was NYPD duty on that day in manhattan.. my dad can see the buildings & smoke fall from his work..

basically everyone has story on that day..

trump did claim minority muslims were celebrating on 9-11... ( which is probably true but not thousands)

from my personal observation, the muslims in my school were in shock as well.. ( we was still teenager/pre-teens).. the adult muslims I can testify that I didnt see any of them celebrate..
