Some northern regions like Asturias and southern regions like Extremadura and Andalucia have been traditionally lefties...but in the last years in Andalucia is growing the extreme right because the muslim immigrants are eating them with potatoes and ketchup.

Basque region liberal?? Basques have been always ultra catholic and ultra conservatives. Basque region has been always a land of priest and Conquistadors.

Actually, that's pretty much what happened in December, with many once-safe Labour seats in the aforementioned regions going Tory, while the SNP are now by far the most dominant party in Scotland, albeit the first-past-the-post electoral system distorts and exaggerates it somewhat.

Egyetértek az állításoddal! Ugyanakkor anyukám szerint (aki ízig vérig Borsodi) a falusi lakosság körében gyakori a baloldaliság.

Miami as well, due to the particular politics of the Cubans there.
