Well, I can't say if most or not overall speaking. I mean, it's hard to say how much of those immigrants are in fact Berbers and how much of them are in fact Coastal Berbers. IMO the majority aren't Berbers per se, but people with North African/Red Sea/SSA mix - which people tend to call Arabized Berbers. People with full Kabylie/Riffian background are somewhat rare to find even in Morocco/Algeria. And well, Tunisia hardly has Berbers overall speaking, so most of them in Europe are typical "Arabized Berbers" - those with influential SSA/Red Sea.

Then, I would dare to say Moroccans/Algerians/Tunisians with 20%+ SSA can't fit as Coastal Berbers at all - they can be Soussa or Zenaga for example (hardly), but tend to be Arabized Berbers/Common people. And yes, they are the bulk of NA immigration.

You know, I was talking with Yemeni just yesterday about it. I mean, it's clear some tests can give SSA to people by pure generical means since it seems when they can't decipher some material in a good way it goes to SSA. How someone was 7% SSA and now less than 1%? That's too much.

Yeah, I agree. I mean, the point is anykind of possible interest makes people feel dumb. Likely you pay for something but you can't have any pure confidence about the results at all.

The previous results said she was 1-7% Senegalese, so, actually 4%. And 1% Cameroon/Congo. And below 5% they call that a "trace region" and don't guarantee that you truly have origin from this region. The updated results say she is 1% from Ivory Coast, not a so big difference.

It's possible that most part of what they initially believed was from Senegal eventually appeared to be from North Africa.
