As I have said before, there are maaaaaany people here in Colombia who would pass as fully Europeans, but the great majority of them carry some degree of Amerindian blood. Probably that's the case in Venezuela as well, unless they have recent European ancestry.

I understand that Venezuela had a little more European immigrants than Colombia, in Venezuela many Portuguese, Spanish, Germans and Italians arrived during the 19th and 20th centuries, which increased the percentage of whites in that country a little. Colombia also had European immigrants, but Venezuela somehow attracted more attention from migrants of the Europe.
Anyway, I think it's the following:
Percentage of white: Venezuela wins (although it is very likely that it has decreased due to the great migration of Venezuelans)
Number of whites: Colombia wins (Colombia has more population than Venezuela)

Also Venezuela receive recent european migration but those descendants were the first to gone of the country. So in the past its probably that Venezuela was whiter, but right now is Colombia.

My cousin married an Ecuadorian, and my brother's friend is also from there.

It is very likely that many Venezuelan whites have left Venezuela, usually these are those who have good economic stability or because it is easier to have a residence in Europe by inheritance. I know some Italian-Venezuelan and many left Venezuela.
