Well in political terms dictator means that you get the power by force but not by law or in a democratic way. In that way Hitler tried to get the power by force in 1923 and for that he was send to jail. In 1933 he got the power in a "semidemocratic" way and then yes, he acted like a dictator almost abolishing the German parliament.

By the way I don't know why people admire Franco, he was a retarded.

Is a ranking system based on something. A lot of these guys got millions of their own people killed, or committed genocide, or wrecked their country financially made everyone poor. Xi Jinping of China seems better than all of them.

i think dictator can be very bad for their people but in most cases it's because of pressure (external like preparing for a war ) or internal (dissidents) but once everything has settled down most usually bring the state's standard up, only some managed to bring up at the same time the state standard as well as the people standard.

Hell No, they are traitors and scum. They are the ones who brought sectarian tension and lead to the rise of fundamentalism in the region. They also favor their cronies on sectarianism. No Bedouin support this post 2003 leadership, they resent it and rightly so. Most Bedouin tribes have opted for almost quasi-independent state, ruled by tribal sheikhs. Most of us resent an imperialist imposed puppet government upon us. The few that like the post 2003 leadership are the ones who became rich through plunder and theft and thrived on the chaos. How can they sleep at night? Is something that I will never know, however most of them are not of Bedouin stock. Everyone clearly can see that pre-2003 Iraq was much better than it's now, despite the political mistakes that was done by the former regime for example.

Most Bedouins are neutral but they kinda dislike him to be honest. We favor the monarchy. My maternal-grandfather for example was upset that King had fallen. He was a communist as well, however despite himself not making any problems, the people under him did a lot of bad things, and they tried to force secular and communist thoughts on the locals, this why he was overthrown eventually. Bedouins greatly enjoyed their status in the monarchist period. However they slowly began to decline with his rise. However they made comeback with the nationalist and pan-Arabist parties, and again they declined and have very little political power since 2003. Many of us refer to the monarchy as the golden age of Iraq. The other issue is Iraq is geopolitical game for world powers and it's neighbours. I think that Abdel Qarim Kasim should have not killed the monarch, and he should have been more firm with his followers, who kinda ruined his image.
