A lot of turks love to claim everything that is not their, a popular case is the scythians, but I also read a website once where some turks were saying that the Hittites were a turkic people (and therefore anatolia was always turkic...).

Serbs too though. I'm not a specialist in balkan conflicts but I heard that some loved to claim that croats were just catholic serbs or something.

I mean, with all the love of the world there is nothing wrong in saying that Turks arrived later and pre turk Anatolia was populated by different people. ( which is not compl. true because stilla lot of Anatolians turkified themselves) but why appropriate?

Even if the Trojan hypothesis is true the ones that left for the Italian peninsula were for sure not turkic people ( also because those guys seems to think that turkish dna is 100% turk while a lot is made by pre existing anatolian elements with then a turkic addiction)

As a people i would not have shame to admit that my ancestor arrived and conquered that lands that before were already inhabited. Can't understand why it seems they want to make appear as they always been there.

I think it's a minority, most turks propably don't care about that indeed.

They are not the only one into this kind of stuff. Many Americans (USA) love to claim that they are the native of this continent, using the solutrean hypothesis as a sort of proof, while it's obviously BS. In a normal world, people should be happy that their ancestor conquered some lands by wiping out and/or forced to assimilate to their culture some random inferior tribes, not making some weird claims that they are the trve native people of X or Y regions.
