They look mainly what they are: a NW Euro population, some people on anthroforums act like the Welsh looked like transplanted Southern Europeans... which is no true, and, honestly, I can't perceive diferences between British Isles groups.

Less so nowadays because they are all mixed but the trained eye can certainly distinguish them sometimes. Irish and English people look quite different though.
