Living DNA recently assigned this particular subclade to me. Looks like Slavic paternal origin for me.

A geneologist told me that Eastern Slavs have as high as volume as Western but are undertested. But yes I have some Czech and Polish.

Could be. I read this on FTDNA:

"R-L260 is one of two major branches of the Central European Branch of R1a Haplogroup known as R1a-M458 (PF6155 and Subclades). It's Peaks are found among Western Slavic populations of: Poland, Sorbia (Lausitz) East Germany, Czechia and Slovakia, Croatia and Ukraine. together with it's R-M458 sibling, CTS11962 they are the Least expanded European Branches of R1a. "

I get matches from those populations. But I also get a lot of matches from Russia and Belarus as well. Have no problem calling these people my people.

See this subclade is present in Central Western Russia as well as Ukraine.

YP254 is very common downstream of L260 in Poland. I suppose that much more than 10% of all Polish Y-DNA can be YP254+. YP254 appears to be significantly rarer in Czech Republic than in Poland.

I tested with living dna and belong to the same haplogroup. It is indeed more common among western slavs than eastern.
