That was probably because he bombed Britain and US and Britain have special relationship. And also because Hitler was allied with the Japanese who attacked Pearl Harbour.

I think Roosevelt likely knew about Pearl Harbor beforehand and let it happen as an excuse to get involved in the war. Still, I think we shouldn't have fought the Axis in Europe. Germany declared war on us despite the fact the Japs weren't helping them fight the Russians.

It turned out the USA was so much stronger then Germany, it was an uneven fight. The US lost only minimum amount of soldiers and has so much capacity though. I dont think Germany could have ever won. Maybe against Britain alone or the USSR but the US was too strong. The Japs never had a chance either.

Hitler could have defeated both Britain and the USSR at the same time if the US didnt got involved. The US supplied both Britain and the USSR. The US had enormous capacity to built weapons etc. Its a giant country. After world war 2 the US turned out as the superpower I dont believe the USSR was ever a equal superpower.

Ultimately the US and Russia have both had the power to end life as we know it for a long time. I hope we never go to war with the Russians.

At the beginning of the war US was still not dominant, but it quickly got a larger and better military. US was more "isolationist" then wasnt it?
Military spending increased. Munitions production in early part of WW2 was dominated by USSR and Germany then Britain, but that changed over time and by mid war US led.
But economy in 1930s US already had the largest economy in the world.

Skeptical of that. Sure the Brits and USSR got aid. But you are of course ignoring the aid to Nazi Germany prior.
