What do Poles and Ukrainians think of Slovaks?

Im curious about how Poles and especially ukrainians view Slovaks? Both countries share a border with slovakia yet I feel like both countries dont really know about slovakia and slovaks this is especially the case with ukrainians who I feel like know nothing about slovakia and slovaks know nothing about ukrainians either.

I like Slovakia. Our Slavic brothers, great people and country, amazing nature and mountains, interesting culture and history. We are divided by mountains but we still share many common themes in history (Spis for example), culture (Gorals, Janosik), etc.

What about the Polish minority in Slovakia?

In Spis, Orava and Cadca there are Goral groups who are intermediate Slovak-Polish ethnically.

I thought there were a couple on here, this article describes the relations pretty good between ukrainians and slovaks I think, but I would like to here from Ukrainians themselves.

theres actually quite a few video vlogs from ukrainians living in slovakia but theyre all in Russian so I cant understand them well. Here is a native slovak and ukrainian discussing life in slovakia for those who can understand it.

yea slovakia does need better international promotion. We recently were on the world stage for having our politicians connected to the italian mafia, so this is the kind of promotion we get in the world. Besides being a part of the Visegrad movement Slovakia needs to some how develop more relations with Poland I feel like in different areas. I think movies and t.v shows would be a good start. Slovaks and Poles dont really do too much together despite in some ways having an even closer mentality than Czechs and Slovaks. Id like to see more cooperation between poles and slovaks in different areas. I know the Cathoic church in Slovakia is quite connected to the Polish one for example. Slovaks like Moravians, especially western slovaks. My father for example thinks of moravians really close to slovaks and I think most slovaks feel this way. I know moravians are also aware and quite proud of the fact that they are closer to slovaks than bohemians. Slovaks like czechs but bohemians seem quite foreign in many ways to Slovaks and Slovaks call them Pepici (or all czechs for that matter, but Bohemians even more so). I think at the end of the day Moravians are inbetween bohemians and slovaks, but originally they were closer to slovaks, I mean during great moravian times slovaks and moravians were basically the same people while Czechs were a completely seperate slavic tribe so that kind of explains how everything started out.

What about the Polish minority in Slovakia?

Honestly I dont know much about poles in slovakia though I met one once and she spoke perfect slovak with zero accent which was interesting, if you mean Gorals people really like them in slovakia. They are seen as good people with good folk traditions and music, Slovaks basically consider them their own, though they are aware of their polish ties.

they would probably be better off if they stayed part of slovakia, and slovaks treat rusyns well in slovakia to this day

The Ukraine should be partitioned between Russia, Poland, Slovakia, and Rumania.
