I honestly don't think it makes anyone a loser and the reasons I mention below:
* Sometimes the guy is not in the mood to meet someone and then have sex. He just wants to fuck and go away.
* To guys with low self esteem and anxiety problems the hookers might the only option they have to get laid. As long as the guy pay they won't reject him.

Prostitution is the world's oldest profession (read Sanger's History of Prostitution available as a .pdf free online) and patronizing prostitutes was considered entirely normal (and legal, for the most part) in the US in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Women shame men who use prostitutes because SEX is woman's greatest weapon in extracting resources from men. The fact that a man may have enjoyment without having to depend on them makes them furious. Just look at how they tried to make alcohol illegal in the '20s (though, I admit, some of that had to do with men squandering wages and beating their wives).

It is the same reason that women shame other women (i.e. "Slut shaming") for being too easy with men because then it increases pressure on women to be "easy" in order to compete with other females. There was a sociological study done in a South American village about groups of females shaming the "looser" "easier" etc. women.

It all comes down to evolutionary mating strategy.

This is a new development that became a thing w/ the arrival of hookup culture. You're shamed for it because if you pay for a prostitute it means you can't get laid. Exactly. Even Linebacker, the Bulgarian bodybuilder member, admitted to having used prostitutes. There was a parody song video by this Russian kid (I can't find it now) where as soon as he scores some money, he immediately walks up to two hot girls and hands it to them. The directly proportional relationship between money and sex is the great elephant in the room that everyone secretly knows or suspects, but won't admit out loud. I judge them myself, I don't have a problem with it in some regards but it does tell you about a person and thus a judgement is made.
