Default Top 10 Non-Irish Nationals Living in Ireland

Most are from Europe which is interesting.

The latest Census figures show there were more than 535,000 foreign nationals living in Ireland in April 2016, a 1.6% drop on 2011.

Polish nationals made up the largest group, while people from Germany were the smallest of the ten groups profiled.

My best friend moved to Ireland 8 years ago, he was originally Czech Hungarian and when people asked him where he is from, he said : " from Czech Republic". The Irish classmates just said : "Oh, okay so you are Polish then"

The UK will be full of people of Irish ancestry and I bet the poles integrate into Ireland easy peasy. Quite similar kind of people. other than that, low numbers compared to some in western Europe.

Ireland only has approx 5M people so when you take that into account the numbers aren't so low. I think Poles would be fine in Ireland and yes quite a similar people.
