Iceland ? They are still in bankrupt.. and it has a horrible climate.. and there is no culture over there..

I would love to leave the USA. You can really see the decline in the quality of living and things are not going to get better. I was thinking about retiring in Europe possibly Germany or Austria. There is also a nice community in Da Nang, Vietnam I am considering.

What's in Da Nang, Vietnam? I am thinking of getting a permanent resident, retirement visa in Thailand when I'm 35, just to have a place to escape to should the sh*t hit the fan in the US.
