IMHO, young Czechs, who did not study another Slavic language(s) will understand much less.

I've listened to the first half of it and I got the meaning of almost everything. Well this text is really simple so, no wonder here. I understand Ukrainian at about the same level (watched Faina Ukraina, lol).
By 'yellow cheese' is probably meant hard (not soft) cheese.

I dont agree with the neighbour who lives at tha flat on the left side, I think that the yellow cheese is harmless
