"Črěz" is probably Russian word

Were you studying it at school? 8 years sounds even a bit too much for a Czech.

If you need to know just basic - like how to get to railway station, what is the job of my parents, etc. it is too long study, I agree.
But for matura of Russian language I had to prepare for 30 questions what refers about things like
Russian and Soviet literature, history, geography, etc.
