Just letting you know that the African child posted above has Waardenburg syndrome (which Kevin Mack has mentioned in this post). The blue eye colour is caused by the syndrome and not by the genetic process that causes blue eyes in populations.
The syndrome is easily recognisable by cranio-facial structure as well as the loss of pigmentation.
