You always have to use commonsense. You appear to think that Irish are somehow different than other people of "the Isles". Why would that be? Do you think there has been different groups of people that came to Ireland that didn't come to Britain. Basically all the people that came to Ireland passed through Britain first be that Bell Beakers, Normans etc. Only seafarers like the Vikings might have been different in that regard. But if you look at genetic plots all these populations are very close. It is what it is. There might be some minor differences which could show up on Genetic studies but you will notice that all Northwestern Europeans plot close together. You have to call it for what you see before you. No use having agendas with population genetic studies. No groups are better than others only in the heads of complexed people. Personally I wouldn't mind having something exotic in my bloodline. I'm just hyper Northwestern European though.
