Anyway, on a totally unrelated note, it appears it is highly likely that the Vikings invented this hair style.

But there is no genetic signature from the Danish Vikings even though they controlled large parts of England–The Danelaw–from the 9th century, suggesting they conquered, kept largely to themselves, and then left. Only Orkney residents were found to have Viking DNA.

Ireland has French from that Irish DNA Atlas but they also have a significant amount of Norwegian-like admixture. Some of that could be old but some of it is from the Vikings. The study links it to the Viking period. Although like the PoBI above and the IDA we really need more ancient genome studies to understand admixture better so that genomes can be compared from different periods in history.

The Morrigan (also Mórrigan or Morrigu) is one of the most mysterious figures in Irish mythology.
The name Morrigan means 'phantom queen' (or 'great queen') and describes a Goddess from old Ireland that was very associated with war, destiny, fate and death.
She was a shape-shifter and frequently appeared as a black crow, an ominous sign for those who saw her prior to battle. Legend has it that the Morrigan was in fact a triad of sisters, often named as Badb, Macha and Nemain, while the Morrigan is also remembered as the triad of the land Goddesses Ériu, Banba and Fódla.

Just form short clips or sample sizes like in this video, they’re all mostly pertaining to British origins, but posses at leas some scandanavian ancestry. It seems like most Europeans do for some reason, I wonder what the explanation is.

Britain is one of the most diverse places in the North Atlantic, pure and British are mutually exclusive at this point. Also if you get down to the nitty gritty all Northern Europeans are Germanic.

The reason there is a less of a similarity is because they are a mix of Danes, Normans, Native British, Celts, Vikings, Saxon-Angles-Jutes-Flemish and Iberian. A lot of the purer Scandinavians like myself come from certain populations like the Scottish Normans, Scottish Islanders/Orks and Northern England and parts of Ireland.

I look more Scandinavian because outside of America, my family only interbred with other Norman nobility, mine, the Stewarts and Bruces were probably the 3 archetypal Norman families in the North, we kept our bonds strong and only usually married English nobles when we did breed out so we don't have a high amount of Gaelic admixture wise; most our Gaelic was bred in initially to gain legitimacy (through MacAlpin).

It's a matter of breeding, what populations were isolated, what populations were heavily mixed etc. Most the Scandinavian Scots and Irish went to America because they were protestant, their Clans lost power as Democracy evolved, squandering their estates etc. Nobody in Europe is pure anything, genetic diversity is a biological and evolutionary imperative.

The English and Irish Scand lines were the same way, most the peasantry was the natives and Celts, The Saxon-Anglo-Jutes probably were the only Scandinavian people to have their own genetic peasantry because they got pushed out by over population.
