Default In your country, are the middle classes or working classes more religious?

In contrast to many other countries, I get the impression that religion in the UK is more popular among the middle than working classes, for whom churches and chapels still can be important community hubs. What is it like in your country?

In Croatia middle classes are more religious than working classes on average.

In that case I shall rephrase it for you: in Germany, is religion more popular among people who work in manual and menial occupations, or in professional and managerial occupations?

Mostly old people. Young people hardly go to church...(it doesn't matter if they are rich or poor).

N.B. In the UK there is a crucial exception: Merseyside, which is a very working-class county, has a relatively high religious following because it is full of Catholics of Irish descent.
