Default Canadian English-language debate - sound off in real time

Ignatieff is owning.. and I don't really like him much.

Layton went on about foreign countries for like 20 minutes (Affordable drugs to Africa? What about affordable drugs to Canada?)

Stephen Harper doesn't sound confident at all.

Duceppe usually does some excellent trolling during the English-language debates, but he hasn't yet so far.

TV is the wrong format for a debate. I torture myself with the spectacle only briefly to confirm such.

Well, it's really more like a pack of wild dogs going after Stephen Harper. I kind of enjoy it.

And the debate is over. The section on multiculturalism ended up with the most mud-slinging, insults being flown around.

I hope it ends up on YouTube tomorrow, though, because it disproves the myth here that leftists always support multiculturalism. The most right-wing politician and current PM, is a strong supporter of multiculturalism, and so is Jack Layton (well, he's a leftist, actually). But the Liberals (centre-left) and Bloc Quebecois (nationalist left) are against it.

Now after getting politically engaged and watching a debate, I am going to rot my brain and watch Dancing With The Stars. Can't find the remote.
