Haplogroup C-F1756 has been found with a frequency of 13% among Kyrgyz, 11.11% among Kazakhs, 9.26% in Hailar, Inner Mongolia, 12.50% in Altai Turks, 9.09% in Teleuts, in Nogai and with a moderate frequency in Turkic peoples in Central Asia. Also, according to a modern research by the Fudan University in China, certain subclades of haplogroup C-F1756 may correspond to early expansions of ancestors of modern Turkic-speaking populations. Specifically, it is proposed that the major branch F3830 corresponds to common Turkic, while the minor branch Y10420, which has been found in Poland and Czech republic and thus may be related to the Huns, corresponds to the Oghuric branch of Turkic languages.

Haplogroup C-F1756 is the brother clade of C-P39 under C-F3918, which is prevalent among the Na-Dene people in North America, as well as ancient tribal leagues, such as the Xiongnu and the Xianbei. It is observed therefore, that it is so the case with C-F1756 and C-P39 as it was with Q-M25 and Q-NWT01, that Turkic peoples and North American Indians share common ancestors in central southern Siberia.
