This video shows the complete train route from Grindelwald-Interlaken-Spiez-Zweissemin-Montreaux. It travels through beautiful villages like Saanen, Gstaad, and breathtaking Alps around you. Hope you enjoy the video.

This is a virtual walking tour from Interlaken Switzerland. The first part of the video is the train into Interlaken coming from Lucerne. After the railway station in Interlaken I walk around the town and show you guys the river that runs through the village.

First video: Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful town located in the Swiss Alps about a 25 minue train ride away from Interlaken. In this video I walk through the heart of Lauterbrunnen on the way to the waterfall.

Second video: This is what its like when you arrive in Lauterbrunnen Switzerland when you arrive by train at the rail depot then walk around and hike to the waterfall before getting back on the train to go up to Wengen. Then take the train back down the mountain from Wengen into Lauterbrunnen.

Wengen ist ein Dorf im Berner Oberland, das zur Gemeinde Lauterbrunnen in der Schweiz gehört. Der Ort ist an Bevölkerungszahl der grösste der Gemeinde. Er liegt auf 1274 m ü. M. am Fusse der Berge Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau, 400 Meter hoch über dem Lauterbrunnental. Es gehört zum Tourismusverbund Jungfrau-Region, zu dem auch das UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe Jungfrau-Aletsch gehört. Seit 1893 kann Wengen ab Lauterbrunnen mit der Wengernalpbahn erreicht werden. Das Dorf selbst besitzt keinen Anschluss an das Strassennetz und ist deshalb nahezu autofrei. Wengen hat normalerweise 1'300 Einwohner, in der winterlichen Hochsaison aber mehr als 10'000 und in der sommerlichen Ferienzeit etwa 5'000 Bewohner.

We join the Wengernalp Railway’s modern electric multiple unit train at Lauterbrunnen for the breathtakingly beautiful trip to Kleine Scheidegg, first climbing past pretty villages and wooded slopes before bursting out from the shade of the trees into bright sunlight as our climb continues, with amazing vistas of the snow covered mountains on one side and deep valleys on the other. Grab a coffee or tea, sit back and enjoy the ride. Track gauge 800 mm (2 ft 7 1⁄2 in)

Switzerland is a beautiful country but the impact that mass tourism has on these communities infuriates me. It Disney'fies the place and turns it into a caricature of itself.

With the mist lifting on a warm still morning we catch the first train on the last operating day of 2015. The train crew are very friendly; keen we should enjoy their railway on this wonderful autumn day. We start climbing through autumn gold woods with shafts of sunshine breaking through the leaf cover creating an almost magical atmosphere, before passing through a series of tunnels, between which the line is perched on a narrow ledge, with occasional stunning views over the lake far below. We pass the tree line onto the rugged mountainside for more dramatic vistas across deep valleys and snow covered peaks. Take a seat and enjoy one of the most outstanding rides in Switzerland. The railway is 7.6 kilometres (4.7 mi) long and the track gauge is 800 mm (2 ft 7 1⁄2 in) Filmed - 25 October 2015

Lucerne is a city in central Switzerland. Lucerne is the capital of the canton of Lucerne and part of the district of the same name. With a population of about 85,000 people Lucerne is the most populous town in Central Switzerland, and a nexus of economics, transportation, culture, and media of this region. Owing to its location on the shores of Lake Lucerne Vierwaldstättersee and its outflow, the river Reuss, within sight of the mounts Pilatus and Rigi in the Swiss Alps, Lucerne has long been a destination for tourists. Die Stadt Zürich ist mit seinen ca. 396000 Einwohnern die größte Stadt der Schweiz. Mit seiner Lage am Zürichsee, seiner gut erhaltenen mittelalterlichen Altstadt und seinem vielseitigen Kulturangebot und Nachtleben ist es zudem ein Zentrum des Tourismus.

And most of America's gold reserves are actually Europe's gold reserves stored there for safekeeping in case the Soviets showed up. Since that is an unlikely scenario, they might just as well start giving it back.
