It doesn't really seem customary for a woman to ask out a man rather than vice-versa lol, and yea no woman has done that to me yet, although many women have displayed flirtatious gestures towards me on many occasions but never technically asked me out on a date.

Quite a few times, including at least one dude to my memory. That was slightly awkward, as I'd just been to a job interview with him.

Plenty of women asked me out. I also had women reach out and kiss me before I had even considered doing it myself. A majority of the woman who asked me out were typically 5-10 years older than me though. In my student days I used to get impromptu cash offers from older women.

In general if you are open minded towards women and talk to them
without being slimy or stuck on to them
in a free manner without insecurities and take a shower more than once
a week it will likely happen in some cases that the women asks you out for
a drink or to do something else together in other cases you will have to do the
first step and that isn't realy difficult neither if there is a basic sympathy between you and a good vibe

Only if you feel no sympathy or any interest from the woman then you
shouldn't try it won't work whatever you do and you should leave her
alone then
