Even though the boycott was successful, and the referendum a fail, it looks like the name change could still be voted on in parliament. Which means they will be going against the wishes of the people.

They need VMRO to vote in favor, which won't happen - not after the referendum result. It's over. There'll need to be an election, although Zaev is going back on his word as usual, and not honoring what he promised if the referendum failed.

Don't you think they will get 2/3 vote in parliament if it were to happen?

What were the final results anyway?

Interestingly, if you look at votes by region, you wont see a difference between a Macedonian populated region and a Albanian populated region. Votes were low country wide. I initially thought Albanians would be out in numbers. I was wrong.

I boycotted. I support EU/NATO membership though.

Zaev has zero % chance of winning an election.
