    I run 10 km in 50 minutes, three times per week. I'm 94kg. I want to run a half-marathon (21km) in april '20.

I also like running, especially in the park. I don't like to do it in the gym, because I need fresh air to feel comfortable. When I was at university, my friends and I organized a running team, and every day we had been running around our neighborhood. But now I'm not a teenager anymore, and after 30 minutes of running, I feel pain in my knees. An hour of running is a gift for me. It's a pity that I can't run like a few years ago. Sometimes I take pills to reduce pain, but still, it's uncomfortable for me. And what about you guys? Can you run and not pay attention to pain? Or you have methods on how to fight it?
P.S. I'm interested, do you like jogging alone, or you need a company?

I used to run all the time in combination with weight training and/or calisthenics. I get addicted to running and get crazy skinny. It is true that running also gives you increased confidence. However, I'm pressed for time nowadays so I do burpees !

I have not done burpees in about a little over a month I was slacking. So I did three sets of burpees , yesterday, and I am sore from head to toe -- you can't get that kind of intensity with running. If you can do 150 burpees you have a physical toughness but also a mental toughness that means you can accomplish whatever you set your mind too. Doing burpees takes less time than running too :

I do 30 min a day of cardio, during the quarantine I have been doing this morning and night, some days. It's mostly intervals. I run up a long grade, then walk down. Or I run at a fast pace for a few minutes until I get very uncomfortable, then I walk for a minute or two, and repeat.

In the past I used to do steady state long distance running, but I would get so many overuse injuries. I have found my current method much more sustainable for me.

I run only twice a week for an hour, because unfortunately, I have no time to run more, and health issues don't allow me to do it. A few years ago, I went hiking and injured my back and knees there, so now I need to take care of them. Mark, I can say that pain killers are not the best option because they affect your whole body. I don't know your diagnosis and more info about your health, but there is one thing, which helped me. I had ordinary running shoes from a sports store, but a friend of mine recommended me to buy the one. I started looking for the pair online and came across this review https://perfectshoesforyou.com/best-...for-back-pain/ of the best shoes for those, why has back pain, and bout one pair I liked the most in that list. There is enough info to help you to choose from. I hope it'll manage to help you somehow.
