Default Can conditioner repair damaged curly hair?

Cuz yknow yall, when i was younger (7-10 years old) i used to have curly hair, and my mom also made it a habit that when my hair was dry she'd comb it super roughly and put in alot of force. So i think that, along with puberty were the two causes of me having wavyish straight hair now.

i have a feeling that sometimes my hair tries to curl (like i get a few curls at the back of my head or the sides of my head) but i probably never use shampoo and conditioner properly, which in turn probably only ruins my hair more.

so question, can my wavyish straight hair be reversed and turned back into nice curls with deep conditioning formulated for curly hair? let me know guys/gals

this is what i used to look like:

    Spoiler!

    Spoiler!

^ this is what it looked liek when i was youngest, i had more tight curls here

    Spoiler!

^ this is what it became after tons of forceful brushing by my goddamn mama

now it's usually like this when it gets longer:

    Spoiler!

    Spoiler!

^ can my hair be rescued still? or is there no chance of recovering for me?

Thats true, but straight hair fucking sucks on me. i really hate straight hair and i never even wished for my curly hair to disappear.

straight wavyish hair makes me look like a goddamn mexican midget experiment gone wrong, i look like a mofuckin osama bin laden combined with a amerindian mexican. not a goddamn afro-caribbean

with curly hair i atleast looked decently amount of Afro-influenced, people wouldve guessed me as Mulatto/Biracial if i had my curly hair still.

    this shit fucks me up

I don't think you can tame the hair to grow from curly to straight , I had blonde curls to the age of five and from then my hair became to darken and by the age of ten I had straight dark brown hair. If u think about that, the hair grows from the hair bulb, and every time when you had a haircut it became shorter but the amount of hair growing back is still straight.. So it's not the fault of too much combing probably.

Let it be as if it would if you didn't have all these modern things. Try to get natural shampoos (solid shampoo).

Agree. Curly hair is better. Makes your hair look naturally thicker.

There are youtube videos about repairing your curl pattern after years of damage. I think there are special products you can buy to help you because I doubt conditioner will do anything.
