Default Greeks most popular nation in Serbia,2nd most popular in Albania

A"s many as two thirds (68 percent) of Albanians have the most negative opinion about Serbs, compared to all other nations in the Balkan region.

At the same time, one-third of Serbs (33 percent) holds the same opinion about Albanians – a Faktor Plus survey has shown.

The survey titled “The relationship between the Serb and the Albanian nations, perspectives of that relationship, friction points, possibilities and fields of cooperation” – was commissioned by the Tanjug news agency, and included 1,000 respondents in Serbia (excluding Kosovo and Metohija), and another 1,000 in Albania.

In terms of negative opinion about regional nations, Albanians are second on the Serbian list. Serbs, on the other hand, have the most negative opinion about Croats (45 percent).

As for Albanians, Montenegrins take the second place in terms of the negative opinion (13 percent).

When it comes to positive opinions about the nations in the region, Serbs like Greeks the most (43 percent), followed by Montenegrins and Macedonians (20 and 18 percent, respectively), while most Albanians chose Italians (44 percent), followed by Greeks and Montenegrins (22 and 16 percent, respectively). How many Croats think negatively of Serbs? I imagine it would be even more than 45%, especially in Dalmatia.

People there are highly nationalistic, it's full of immigrants from Herzegovina. Even Robocop had problems in the city he lives in because he doesn't utterly detest Serbs like many over there do.

I’m sorry if I sound ignorant,I’m not very familiar with Croatian affairs, why Croats from Bosnia-Herzegovina are so nationalistic compared to the Croats of Croatia?

I knew many Serbs had a negative opinion towards Croats, but I thought Albanians would come in at first by a landslide, especially based on this.

Škutori and Vlaji imigrants after 1945 became majority in Dalmatian coast, and they brought harted trowards the Serbs. Native coastal Croatians such as Robocop are different kind of people from Škutori and Vlaji.
My grandfather say that native Croatians from Šibenik were friendly towards the Serbs from hintherland. For Croatians from Sinj, Vrilka, Drniš, Imotski (Vlaji) I heard from many Serbs from Knin area that they hate Serbs. They are clerical ultra-Catholic fanatics, and in WW2 together with Škutori and Lika Bunjevci they committed many monstrous crimes against the Serbs.

The Ustasha movement started in Bosnia. Ante Pavelic was born in a predominately Serb/Orthodox town. He probably grew up with hatred against Serbs.

He was born in Bradina, but his parents came from here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krivi_Put

He was Lika Bunjevac, his ancestos came to Krivi Put from western Herzegovina in late 17th century.

Majority of Lika Croatians are Bunjevci.

He applied for a position at the Belgrade Lyceum, wrote a sincere and humble letter to them, in cyrillic no less, but he got rejected, just like he did at the Zagreb university. Can you imagine how different history would have been had they accepted his application?
