It is highly questionable whether all Slavic nations were "Slavs" since beginning. Probably not.

Dunno about all slavs originating from Serbs, but it wouldn't suprise me if the original slavs were more actually more dinaric lookling like Serbs and other south Slavs, as opposed to snub nosed Baltoid North slavs with their German and Baltic admixture.

Isn't that because Serbs are descended from Sorbs? Aren't Sorbs basically just the Serbs that stayed back in Central Europe instead of migrating to the Balkans?

No, they have totally different Y-dna compositions. The ancestors of the Serbs came from western Ukraine.
