As for Germany, the first king of the modern Greek state was a Bavarian and not very popular among the Greek population,Germany has historically supported our enemies (Bulgarians,Turks)against our national interests and then there is also the Nazi occupation of the county during which Greece suffered a lot.
But all these are history, now 500.000 Greeks live in Germany and another 500.000 in the UK,many Greeks study in these countries, around 100.000 Brit and German expats live in Greece permanently, and British and German tourists flock to our country in millions during the summer.
