I like the average American more than I like most Europeans, CANZUK + USA are sister nations.

I prefer your country being the world cultural hegemon instead of China-Russia, our cultures have more similarities than differences, thus I feel more "at home" when I'm abroad.

I admire the sense of self-reliance many Americans have.

I hate the cultural degeneracy that is chiefly propagated by American media, but the cucks in other countries that adopt your degenerate fads and corrupt their own cultures are also at fault.

I hate your government as much as I hate my own, for the same exact reasons, which are: unnecessary wars, getting cucked by immigrants, forced diversity, the gradual erosion of the nation-state and its host culture etc...

Saying "nucular" instead of nuclear annoys me to no end.

I don't fret much about past history, but "Irish"-Americans aiding the IRA during the troubles was a fucking dick move.

I've always said that the US has this idea of superiority and power because of the people who keep buying our crap, both culture and material.

America is where I was born and raised. It's where I get my living. I'm as proud of my country as anybody from any other country would be proud of theirs. Do I think we're the absolute best? Nope. Do I appreciate my family's history and heritage in this part of the world, although it's only a couple hundred years old? Certainly. Does the reputation of the U.S.A. abroad make me cringe? Yes, it does. The United States, for me, is a work in progress. We've already achieved a lot in some areas, but in others, we've got a long way to go.

Things I admire: entrepeneurial, positive spirit; strong commitment to free speech, information and government transparency; welcoming people from around the world (however tentatively); strong emphasis on customer service and hospitality.

Things I dislike: cultural, political and military imperialism; philistine attitude towards foreign languages (same in the UK too, although in the case of the US might this change with the growing importance of Spanish?); trashy fast food, films, TV and music; environmental wastefulness and poor public transport in many places; a history of racism nearly as bad as South Africa; lack of free healthcare; death penalty; widespread ownership and veneration of guns; religious fundamentalism far in excess of anywhere else in the developed world (even taking into account Muslim populations in Western Europe).

These are stereotypes perpetuated by UK media, although thank you for noticing the UK especially has this language problem. In the US, (1) it was very important in the past to forgo your heritage language in order to integrate and (2) Americans know far more Spanish than they realize. The average Brit does not know nearly as much Spanish, French, or German even though those countries are a short drive away.

More UK media stereotypes. No one in US is more racist than you or anyone else in the world. Gun freaks are overrepresented on TV. Europe and UK are far more militaristic and have much more civic and military pride than US overall.
