Insuperable told you there was sample of 140 people and they score similar high amount of I2-din. Anyway, if real figure is lower it will still be extremely high, since Dalmatian Croats are over 50% I2-din.
R1a is below 20% in Herzegovina, but it is still second most common haplogroup.
Funny thing is that I told him that even before that and he continues to write the same thing. He ieither has memory problems or is just dishonest.

Herzegovinians there are Croats from Široki Brijeg and Mostar.
I have 4,5 Croats from Herzegovina on my 23andme list and all of them are I2 except one who is I1. It is just a coincidence, but in my opinion total I in Herzegovina would converge to 55% if large enough sample is taken.

I don't know where he pulled that 86 number since I don't know about any other study.

By that logic we can all call ourselves Croats even Serbs.

You can't create an identity based on a single religion and single political view, that's not a nation that's a CULT, a movement... not a nation.

Nation is made of Tribes, those tribes are made of families etc...

We need to figure WHICH tribes are Croatian, which tribes are Serbian.

I could convert to Catholicsm tomorrow, does that mean I'll become Croat?

People are completely INSANE regarding national identification, a unique example in a WHOLE WORLD where people identify nation with religion.
Didn't you try to get Serbian passport and ID and got turned down?

    Many Croatians claim these bullshit.

Ante Starčević had these attitudes because of at least 2 reasons.
First he was mentaly ill prerson.
Second he wanted to devide Serbs with a goal of conversion western Serbs in Catholicism and croatization of them. His dream was Croatia to the Drina river and Belgrade, that means whole Bosnia and Herzegovina and Syrmia in Croatia.

I am not a fan of Starcevic. So? Since Bosnian Serbs are lighter I can claim that Serbs from Serbia are part turks and gypsies as an analogy of that British Serb's diarrea about B&H Croats. I don't give a fuck about Starcevic.

Nobody says that religion = nation. There is a lot of things which connects catholics in Bosnia with Croats besides religion itself such as feelings of belonging to the same ethnic group, consciousness of a common origin, remembering the same ancestors and awareness of the same history, speaking the same language etc. You can also be Croat if you share at least some of these things without a doubt. I know people whose origin is certainly not from Croatia but today they freely express themselves as Croats. To me it appears that you don't understand the basic concept of modern nations. I've met several people who adhere to different religions who declare as Croats aswell so being catholic does not equal being Croat. In my opinion Bosniak is just a regional identity. I respect people who belong to this newly formed nation but you can't pursue other to declare as such.
