The four worst things that happen to old people, in my opinion, are cancer, stroke, heart disease, and dementia.

Thankfully, my grandfather is in a wheelchair now, so we don't have to worry about him slipping, and being killed by the fall.

A lot of old people seem to die when they fall and break their hip.

My grandma never drank wine, she never ate a lot either. She was consistent with 1 thing though: milk. Which is weird because (cow) milk is not good for adults, and her, my mom and me are genetically propense to be lactose intolerant (I know I am), however milk seems to do wonders for her.

I don't drink milk because I don't like the taste. I do drink about 200-300 oz (about 6-9 liters) of diet soda a day, though

That crazy amount of soda is not good for you, though you already know that.

I just really enjoy the taste, and since it's diet, it doesn't make me any fatter. Will you let your daughter drink soda if she wants?

I will never encourage that, and will explain how negative junk food is, but wont forbid it if she decides to drink it once she’s old enough to go birthday parties on her own.

Nowadays is more and more common to find kids choosing water or juice over soda, so I’m hopeful

Junk food isn't that bad, though. All that matters is calories in, and calories out.

Eating 1800 calories worth of McDonalds a day is healthier than eating 3000 calories worth of filet mignon a day.

Food quality is not only about calories but nutrients. Junk food is that...junk. It doesn’t add valuable nutrients and are usually full of bad fats and/or shady ingredients.

Nothing beats natural, healthy food. Peanuts, pasta, cereals, etc. Tons of good calories that give you energy

When it comes to weight loss, though, it doesn't matter the quality or nutrition, only calories. I don't really care about living a healthy lifestyle, and I doubt I'll make it to 70 anyway, but I do want to lose weight so that I am more attractive.

Also, I can't stand the taste of most healthy foods.
