In Hungary
English>>>German>>>>>>>>>French/Spanish/Russian/Italian
Personally I think languages apart from English and German are kinda useless in this country (except for rare cases)
If you speak both English and German at C1 level employers will suck your dick for free here.

French by far other than English, as there is a long tradition of admiring France and its language, culture and history and some eggheads are fond of calling their country a Francophone country. Before the fall of communism there was also Russian, but it quickly got scrapped after the revolution of 1989. Some people take German instead, as a second foreign language usually, as in secondary level of schooling you study 2 languages with one being usually English(first foreign language usually and studied since kindergarten now I think). Some also get to study again typically as second foreign language Italian or Spanish if they are in a foreign languages class in high school. At universities you can also take Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese or Serbian if you want.

Good luck finding Anglo-Australians who speak any of these though
