    My ex girlfriend is dutch and her english were very basic, even she told me that for the spanish people is more easy to learn english than for dutch people because they are more similar to each other.

    Funnily enough, when I did my year abroad at the University of Zaragoza, one of my lecturers there told me how for a long time they had an exchange with a Dutch university where the Dutch would come over to learn Spanish and the Spaniards would go to the Netherlands to learn English!
