I have West Asian(Turks) ancestors from 1500s, i'm sure. Scoring ~15 West Asian is pretty normal. Even West Europeans scoring 5~8.

Also i have ~10 ~12 Central Asian as far as i observed.

Constantly scoring ~1 Sub-Saharan could tell me something, as you said. It is probably from Middle-East ^-^ But i really don't have any opinion about why have i scored more Horn of Africa than you.

GenomeBox is good calculator, but can't specify components.

but yeah makes sense. You do score higher than average, but its kind of expected. And yeah ur SSA is definitely from ur MENA admix. And the horn of africa.. Idk lol, i guess 99% of gedmatch tests just suck for me. Even EthioHelix doesnt pick up on my ethiopian that well. it only gives me 5% east african in total.


and true my G, Genomebox is good if you DONT know your ethnic breakdown. If you do, then well, it's basically useless for you.

thats why this test is so good for me. It gives me very accurate european percentages that i expected i would be, and the only surprise was my African, never realized i was actually this black because AncestryDNA, Myheritage, wegene, and many gedmatch tests never gave me this much.

I signed up for this and it was pretty much bullshit.

25.44% South European apparently. This hasn't come up in any other calculators because I DON'T have Southern European. This is the first and only test which tells me anything South European.

North and South American is also nonsense.

LOOOL WOW, this is proof that MENA gets sucked into south european, 100% proof. I already found it weird that i scored 15% southern european, it all makes sense now. my north african got sucked into my euro so i dont think im even 54% euro lol


dodecad africa9 gave me 46.71% euro, and Xcode Life 2.0 gave me 44% euro, makes way more sense. but that would mean that my dad is less european than i thought, prolly algerian admix from his french dark ancestor

Agreed. But when I average out the percentage of AJ I get from all the tests I've taken, it comes out to 91% - so perhaps that '9%'or so contributes to it leaning more west than usual. According to my Father's old paper trail, an 11th great Grandfather was a Lutheran from Cleves, Germany. That might also have something to do with it, not sure.
