Round dances have in Kartvelian culture ritual religious character
There in the archaic Northern Georgia are still pagan "Ferkhuli" performed only by men

something like this have Chechens and Ingushians but mixed with modern Muslim culture called "Zikr"
It is not recognized in pure Islam and is known as pagan relict

    Laz mourning

Music mournings were very popular in Kartvelian culture
They are still popular among archaic Kart groups living far away from Lazes, in the East Georgia mountains and Svan people

    Kart mourning from Pshavi region

    Kartian mourning, Tusheti region

    Svan mourning, "Zari"

    Mingrelian (Christian Laz) lament

Christian Laz from Georgian Mingrelia talking with Muslim Lazes in Turkey Lazistan

Zan tribes were divided by neighbour Meskhians when they migrated to the Black Sea from the mountains in the first half of the Middle ages

Though Mingrelians and Lazes still understand each other
Between them now live Meskhified Gurian group with Kart language but Zan (Laz) substratum in their dialect
In the last time from the mountains also come down pure Meskhian group -Adjarians
