The Laz singer Hulya Polat about Lazistan, Lazona in Laz language.

Historical Lazona is divided between Turkey and Georgia.

Sadly It has not official status in both countries.
The most part of Lazona is in Turkey and is divided between different municipalities and regions of Turkey. (little trolling of local Turkish chaivinists. hope once autochthonic Laz people return its own land with its language, culture and civilization in it).

    LOL
Pontians, Blacksea Turks, Hemshins and Lazes don't have similiar cultures, they have one culture. They have one lifestyle and one mentality. Only religions and languages can change, nothing more. I am talking about our Lazes by the way.
Singing technique in the video that you posted is unfortunately not part of our(including Lazes too) culture. We don't have polyphonic singing.
That ''dance'' in the ending is extremely simple to be associated with anything from my region. It is extremely funny to post serra there. It is even funnier to claim that it is similiar with the ''dance'' in your vid
So it is not common with folk of Pontians. If it was, it would not be ''deturkified''.

This is what real horon is btw..

It is also extremely funny for you to relate pherkhuli with ''Zorba Dance''
Smurfs have round dance too. Saying it to give you more cultures that you can associate yourself

Name of that dance is Sirtaki, zorba is name of the film. Zorba is a Turkish word that possibly has Persian roots. It means bully.
Original name of the dance is hasapiko. Sirtaki is like a very recent version of hasapiko. It played by butchers of Istanbul orginally and most of that butchers were Albanians. Dance took its name from that butchers. Kasap means butcher in Turkish.

Turks and Armenians came on the land of Pontic Greeks and Lazes
So they are like diaspora there
I dont mean them when I mean Pontic-Laz culture
They are like Russian Cossaks in the Caucasus
when they settled Circassia they copypasted the culture of local Circassians and Armenian diaspora in Circassia also were like Circassians more then Armenians

I dont say Zorba and Pherkhuli have something in common
but I say they are too different from each other
while Pontic Greeks' and Lazes' Khoroni is very similar
so it is not from their Hellados ancestors or proto Kartveloid ancestors but something created together living in one region for thousand of years
I understand you are Turkish and want to make Lazo-Greek culture also common with Black Sea Turks but no man
I know the region very well because of Lazes and you are like Cossaks in Circassia
you only genocided the local Greeks and copypasted their culture
    its true Hellado-Colchian mix world

    Well..
It is not a secret that majority of our ancestors were natives of these lands.
Other than that this reply of yours is irrevelant to your claims and my reply. Don't mislead the topic.
