Don't mistake me with a chuvanist nationalist such as yourself. The only thing that I care about nations is their culture. I don't care whatever you call yourself. You can call yourself god if you want. I only care about your culture and try to find the beautiful parts of it.
You are the one who associate your culture with ''Lazo-Greek'' ( ) btw, my culture is same with their's already

Sorry man but Oghuz Turks your grandfathers conquered these regions performed genocide of Pontic Greek and settled there themselves
There is a big difference between Ellinian culture and Turkic cultures to see whose dances and music are they
Its ancient culture man
Ancient culture of Hellados + Colchian tribes
Real Turkish dances and music are somewhere in middle Anatolia
Turks' folklore is quite different
Even I say it is not Laz culture
Because its very much influenced by Greek and other ancient cultures of the region but it is not original Laz culture but mix. Turks came very late and they brought Asiatic notes.
Pontic Greeks dance Horoni like true Hellas and Turks like more Asian people
We Georgians try to clean how its possible Laz folklore from Greek mix and late Turkish influence
But we can not restore of course their folk of pre Greek period - 7-6 cen. BC and we make it only like our folk thinking we are making it original

They are mostly good people quite on their own. Yet linking them with Georgians would be maybe mistaken.
Laz might come from Lezgins. NE Caucasus Pagan people "Arabized" by Ottomans somehow. Laz weren't Byzantine Orthodox such as the Georgians being the oldest Cristian nation in the world.

The Lazs were converted to Christianity in the 5th century, by the first Christian king Gubazes I of Lazica, that declared Christianity as a state religion of Lazica.

Good thread. To hell with Turanization/Mongolization and duddy ponto-cromagnids.
After the North Slavics, the Caucasics are my favorite Aryan race.
