I dont think its bad, our taxi companies are owned by regional companies. and the people working hard to get their license and build a company shouldnt get kicked out by a american company.

Exactly what's happened here in hungary. Taxi guys were striking until uber got shut down.

We had something like that in Amsterdam. Turns out that those taxi companies often use violence against competitors and are in bed with either the municipality or the Moroccan/Turkish underworld (same difference). So, yes, I would have celebrated their demise.

Here in my region we have old german owned companies with nice luxury cars fleet and german drivers. Here mostly old people use taxis and rely on the German companies.

That's different then. Here, I think I would have liked Uber. It just got banned by the government before someone could even say the word.

lets be real, the uber drivers would still be the same lowclass people or even lower thab today since they will get even less as uber drivers. You will sit in a shitty dacia from murat

True. But I wouldn't be paying 50 euro's for a trip that takes 15 minutes.
