    Romance languages for sure.

    I obviously choose Sardinian (which is not in the list above), the living language closest to ancient vulgar Latin.

    It's hard to vote for only one, to be honest. Currently I find Germanic and Slavic languages the most interesting, followed by Finnic.

    My favourite language per language family:

    Germanic: Dutch (native; simple grammar but in ways very conservative as it differs less from Middle Dutch than Modern German does from Middle German), German, Swedish (though Icelandic is also very interesting and
    I find Danish to have the most interesting phonology);
    Romance: French, Romanian, Spanish;
    Slavic: Czech (very purist), Russian (very cosmopolitan); Polish (very archaic);
    Finno-Ugric: Finnish.

    I guess I clearly prefer my own Germanic language family. I have the most pronounced opinion on it at least. Familiarity and such.

    Hungarian does sound beautiful when spoken conversationally, though.

    Interestingly, while grammarly and lexicographically it's far removed from its distant cousin Finnish, the intonation is very alike to that of Finnish.
