In fact would make sense in places like São Paulo or Rio that people with full Italian ancestry mixed with Pred-White Brazilians at all. If it makes like a pred Iberian, that's somewhat fine. In fact, I can only say if they are in fact colonials seeing by region, since those 1950- immigration waves tend to be stronger at SE/South Brazil.

i have checked gedmatch of many of this brazilians and the "italian brazilians" normally have colonial portuguese ancestry via 1/2/3 grandparents . IMO white colonials in brazil were already heavily euro (some colonials score 80-95% euro in gedmatch) so they mixed a lot.

Same in the south i have many RGS/SC brazilians who score more northern euro, but they dont score full NE in big majority of cases.

(maybe it would be cool if my filter could distinguish half german and half italian because i do know many of the south brazilian samples have a certain non iberian influence)

mexico seems to be balanced on average, like Dominican republic, but whats different about mexico and DR is that while in DR most people is in the same range, mexico seems to be a mestizo country with significant "white" (70-100) and "amerindian" (0-30) minorities.

Aren't most of those Gedmatches from Mexican-Americans? Around 90% of the Mexican-American origins comes comes from West-Central,Northern Mexico .

Makes sense you have an important significant white and significant Amerindian population as well leaving a big factor balanced population for Mexico representing neither of both parties.

well some are and some arent. The ones i labelled as mexican american have roots in usa since 1800-1900 or so

Yup Puerto Rico and Uruguay have homogeneous populations as well that smaller that country so I guess size does matter ! Haha

Mexican-Americans can be anyone born in the USA of Mexican heritage . I posted many Mexican-Americans with Roots in Nuevo Leon/Texas that scored over 85% Euro,but not one i guess is over 85% Euro in the 14 Mexican-Americans chart ?
