    In order to accommodate increasing numbers of lesser-intelligent foreigners, we have really lowered our standards everywhere... and things like academic competition in schools is very watered down. Our modern schools are producing semi-literate failures.

    Were they really smarter or is it just that everyone openly communicates now, so we see all sorts?

    The older generation were leaving school by about thirteen for example and people were walking straight into apprenticeships, when today everything is about further education.
