I have vk.com, Skype, Viber and WhatsApp for my friends and mom. I use Telegram and Slack. Telegram is my favourite messaging app, because they have bots and free stickers. Sometimes you've to use it with proxy or VPN services, but if your phone cannot do this, then it's some useless piece of trash.

I use WhatsApp and Viber occasionally to communicate with friends and family. Especially when I want to share some links or photos, since regular messaging doesn't have a decent interface for that.
