Do Jews Accept Converts?

I guess they can't accept converts in large scale since they consider themselves a race.
Is that true?

I'm pretty sure Jews have always accepted converts. There's even a commandment in the Torah or whatever saying "be kind to converts" or something. Orthodox Jews will only accept Orthodox converts, not converts from more liberal groups like reform. If you have a proper conversion you can actually claim right of return to Israel and receive citizenship which is pretty funny.

I believe conversion at least Orthodox can take up to 3 years and is a difficult task with lots of self study. It's seen as largely pointless as you don't need to be a Jew to be "saved" infact gentiles only have a few basic laws to follow compared to Jews who have 613 commandments. There's no concept of hell in Judaism.

This is untrue, it's in the Torah stating be kind to converts, and several biblical Jews and even prophets were converts. Prophet Obadiah, Jethro, Ruth great grandmother of King David.

The tradition is the Rabbi must refuse a convert 3 times, on the 4th time, he must unwillingly accept, but will purposely make it difficult for the individual to convert as it's seen as unnecessary (the convert is making their life more difficult by becoming a Jew and accepting more commandments) . Pretty sure most ultraorthodox do accept conversions, but only if it's within their specific branch.

Its realy difficult for a Non Jew or even a Jew himself maybe to realy know where they stand

Since Jewish is kinda like both a religion and an ethnicity or heritage

As there are Jews who are not practising Jews but even Atheist and nevertheless consider themselves Jewish because

For Jews you are ethnically proper Jew only if your mother is Jewish as far as i know

The actual Judaism is based on Talmud which is the official lecture and explanation of Torah according to rabbinical sources.
And this actual Judaism streams from Pharisees sect and was a response to Christianity, nowadays Judaism should be seen as a post-christian religion.
On conversion, you are confirming what I wrote prior, they will make it more difficult for you to test how genuine is your conversion.
Most ultra-orthodox do accept conversions, I am not arguing this fact, read my answer again, I wrote "some" would never permit it, not most or all, and they are mostly of minor ethnic groups within Judaism, like some withdrawn Mizrahi communities.

"Jewish" is not really an ethnic group because there are many Jewish ethnic groups. Many people also converted in Roman times. Around 10% of the Roman Empire was Jewish at it's height.

Same can be said on others, having many subgroups doesn't shake the common identity.
