None of that surprises me. Plus: they seem to have this whipped up hypernationalism going on. No, for all their ills: I think the U.S is still the better option. In Macao and Hong Kong they don't seem too happy with Beijing snuffing out their liberties either. And then we're not even talking about how the Mongols think about China, or the Ughyurs or the Tibetans. India, for all its posturing, isn't exactly pro-Chinese either and has been moving closer to the Western block. Remains: Pakistan and Afghanistan. They are moving swiftly into Central Asia now.

At the end of the day China is at the mercy of the Banker controlled West for many reasons, one being that China is a net Energy Importer by a high margin and fuel prices and supply are controlled by Rothschield et al who also control the Chinese securities markets through subsidiary Market Maker corporations.

It was the Rothschield corporations that actually helped China become the powerhouse that it a today by opening millions of factories based on cheap labour and the Chinese are resourceful and intelligent and it wasent long before they were able to copy the technology and intellectual properties of these companies.

At the end of the day, militarily, the US is 50 years ahead of China so China has a long way to go before it can challenge for the number 1 position.

Except the Chinese have invaded other countries and are doing so now. Tibet, Korea, Xinjiang, Mongolia (Inner Mongolia is Mongolian) have all, at one time, been invaded by China (and most are still occupied today) and now they're going after the Philippines, Vietnam and even Japan and islands as far away as Indonesia.

Tibetan was conquered and replaced with ethic Chinese... Taiwan used to be home of Austronesians ( but got displaced by Chinese immigration)… china also see Vietnam/korea/Siberia as their former territories which they invaded in the past china plans to invade Taiwan someday and they haven't forgotten ww2 with japan.

Chinese tried to invade the Philippines in 15-16 century but was killed of my spaniards..

China also claims several regions of India and Bhutan to be apart of China, almost every country within China's vicinity they have territorial disputes with.

That's why at some point I think they are shifting more and more into Central Asia (except maybe Uzbekistan and Afghanistan at all). I see some Tajikistan's government signals to ban islamic radicalism not only a national program but a sign to make better relations with China at all, and using this as a way to reach Middle East using a different way instead Pakistan only. This map shows it perfectly.

That is just barely scraping the surface on Korea-Japan relations. There is much much more to it than that.
