MGTOW was a movement originally started in the USA by men who had access to many women but chose to marry none because they saw other people losing their savings and substantial pieces of their income in divorce settlements. Not all MGTOWs are celibate. As a matter of fact, I'd say most aren't. MGTOWs who are totally celibate are referred to as "monks" and are considered the most extreme. MGTOW is not a dogmatic thing. One may choose how extreme they want to take it. Some MGTOWs just stick to pump-and-dumps and hookers. Some may even have casual relationships.

I'd consider myself a mild MGTOW since I agree with them in sentiment, but I am still open to having a wife (or at least, a baby-momma) and a kid someday.
