As for a persons looks it’s just random I guess, I’m mostly Scandinavian and a quarter spanish but I definitely look more south European.

I don't think so. I noticed many Eastern Europeans have absolutely no idea about Spanish looks. I don't think Bulgarians are any darker, but in similar range, if we speak about hair/eye colour.

Most Eastern Euros don't know how Bulgarians look like as well.
Bulgarians are on par with Serbs in terms of pigmentation and slightly swarthier than Croats.

I don't know how Spaniards look like and refrain from commenting, but I assume they are similar as well

I've seen many Spaniards are they aren't woggy at all on average. Bulgarians the same I think.
Croats are lighter than Spaniards but darker than French, so Serbs and Bulgarians should be in range with Spanish.

Portugese are somewhat darker in my opinion.

I think both are diverse countries you can find light as well as dark pigmentation in both countries. I never saw a Spaniard before but I saw a few Bulgarians. And to me they looked similar to Turks. Well one guy looked like a serb, but a bulgarian bouncer who worked in my nightclub looked turk also had same mustache as Erdogan. Moriscos were redistributed for +- 30 years for all Spain after they rebelled in Granada, Andalusia, in 1571, to expel definitely them of Spain. When they were expelled, they were the incredible amount of... 325.000
