Do Hungarians still hate Slovaks?

Honestly I don't know...
What I know they didn't like each other (the common Austro-Hungarian past).
Slovaks wanted freedom and saw Hungarians as occupants.
Hungarians thought that Slovaks destroyed their Empire and stole them their land.

Maybe it depends per individual basis, I know there was quite a lot of anti Hungarian sentiment amongst Slovak nationalist Politicians. Im sure there is same mentalitys among Hungarian nationalist or ultranationalists too, but possibly in many places where Hungarians live in Slovakia there is largely not issues with their Slovak neighbours on personal basis.

There is almost zero problem in places where both people live as far as I know. If you go to a video on you tube about Slovakia just look at the comments. Filled with Hungarians hating on the country. Go to a video about Hungary, there will be no such comments from Slovaks. This says a lot. Among normal Slovaks there is a negative view of Hungary but no real hate.

I wouldnt be suprised if those comments were coming mostly from diaspora Hun's living not even in Slovakia or Hungary.
But yeh I can imagine there could be a lot of Trianon related comments, eg "the real name of that town is ......"
Having said that I have witnessed on another forum anti Hun sentiments initiated more by the Slovak members than vice versa, but all together it probably goes both ways.

Yea it goes both ways but it's never too serious. I mean the dislike is there for sure but nothing like Balkan level.

These comments in Quora article seem to support what we are saying, that it goes both ways but also for most people on both sides its not as extreme as some people make it out to be.
